Villa Balbianello in Lenno, built by Cardinal Angelo Maria Durini at the end of the 18th century, is on the tip of the Balbianello promontory, almost opposite Bellagio. Villa Carlotta in Tremezzo, has wonderful gardens and works of art inside the villa which today is a museum.
Keep driving until you reach Bellagio which is known as the “Pearl of the lake” thanks to its unique position on the tip of a promontory in the middle of the lake. Cobbled streets, narrow alleyways, shops selling local handicrafts and the numerous bars and restaurants make it special. In Bellagio, visit the gardens of Villa Melzi.

WINE TOUR IN FRANCIACORTA AND LAKE ISEO
