WINE TOUR IN FRANCIACORTA AND LAKE ISEO

Another beautiful gem of the great tradition of Italian wines is Franciacorta, home of Italian version of Champagne; it is considered the only compact area producing world class sparkling wine in Italy.

Tucked between the southern shores of the Lake Iseo and the city of Brescia at the footsteps of the Lombard Alps, it is an area that dates back to the monastic institutions around the year 700AD.

Your will be able to taste the local foods at a local farm and enjoy the amazing culinary experience at one of the great restaurant in the area.

Your wine tour will be held at Bellavista, the iconic producer of some of the most refined Italian sparkling wines.

Here you will be introduced to their vineyards, their production and their wine cellars and you will be able to see what is the Metodo Classico, the only method of wine making allowed in the area to produce DOCG sparkling wines.

Lake Iseo is only few miles away, the fourth largest lake of the region and it remains one of outstanding natural beauty, with its lush green mountains surrounding the crystal clear lake with the opportunity to explore some of its several medieval towns lodged around the lake, such as Iseo and Sarnico, to conclude this out of the beaten path day driving around the narrow streets carved into the mountains.

Experiencing the stunning beauty and amazing flavors of this northern part of Italy are memories that will last long after your driver returns you to your hotel.
